OAPSB Board of Directors
2007 - 2008

The following members are your representatives on the Board of Directors. The OAPSB is made up of Zones 1, 1A, through 6 and a Director from each zone sits on the Board. In addition, two members of the Board represent O.P.P. Contract Boards - one from the north (Zones 1 & 1A) and one for the rest of the province. Four Directors sit on behalf of the largest boards and Toronto has a seat. All Directors, with the exception of the two O.P.P. representatives, must be elected by their zone or representative group within 45 days prior to the OAPSB's Annual General Meeting. The Immediate Past President sits on the Board until there is a subsequent Past President. The Executive Committee consists of the President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Immediate Past President, Secretary/Treasurer and Executive Director. Most Executive meetings are conducted by conference call.

The Board of Directors meets from three to five times per year on an as needed basis. The Directors' meetings are often attended by the Assistant Deputy Minister on behalf of the Solicitor General. Other stakeholder groups such as the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police and the O.P.P. are invited to attend to discuss issues of mutual concern.
