Police Leadership Program
New Program Elements for 2005

The only MBA-style program in Canada designed specifically for police executives, the Police Leadership Program was developed as a partnership between the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. It is an intensive course with a customized curriculum that covers strategy, financial management, human resources, leadership, police service delivery, community knowledge, political astuteness and communications.

Recent Updates to the Police Leadership Program. Please note these progressive program developments for 2005:

1. Pricing: the price for the new three-week condensed program is $10,000. Accommodation (one block from campus) is available for the program’s duration for an additional $2,500. The fee continues to cover all meals.

2. Project: An action-learning project that provides participants with the challenge of developing and guiding a project that can be implemented in their organization within a six month timeframe. These projects will have the potential for generating budget savings or advancing strategic imperatives within the organization.

3. Credit: The ability to earn a semester credit. This is an optional extra for those who choose to take it.
