RIDE Funding Review Committee Mandate
The mandate of the Funding Review Committee is to review each application and recommend equitable and effective funding allocations to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Public Safety Division. The committee also identifies and addresses issues by recommending changes to enhance the administration and the success of the grant.
RIDE Funding Selection Criteria
All applications are reviewed using the following:
- size of police service;
- number of applicants
- population served;
- use of previous RIDE grant (if applicable); and
- commitment to RIDE
