2008 CAPB Conference “Civilian Governance and Social Responsibility: Safety, Community and Sustainability” August 14 – 17, 2008 The conference will address topics related to both environmental responsibility and social responsibility in police governance. The keynote speaker will be Glen Murray, urban strategist and consultant and the former Mayor of Winnipeg, best known for his vision to build culturally dynamic urban centres. Room rate: single/double - $189 per night. A golf tournament will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Braeben Golf course in Mississauga.
